Glossary: Scrap Item: One item within a scrap file. A scrap item may itself have many “Scrap Types”. You can see what “Scrap Types” a scrap item has by clicking the “Scrap Type Menu” in the window. Scrap File: A file created by ScrapIt Pro (or Apple’s Scrapbook, MultiScrap or SmartScrap™) to store scrap items. Scrap Type: A Scrap Type is the “type” of data that describes the item placed into the Scrap File. The Scrap Types an item has depends on the application that you copied the data from. Some common types are; ‘GIFf’ = A GIF item (a special picture format) ‘JPEG’ = A JPEG item (a special picture format) ‘TIFF’ = A TIFF item (a special picture format) ‘3DMF’ = A QuickDraw 3D item ‘PICT’ = A picture definition ‘TEXT’ = Text ‘styl’ = Text formatting for a ‘TEXT’ item ‘snd ’ = A sound ‘AIFF’ = A special sound type ‘AIFC’ = A special sound type ‘moov’ = A QuickTime™ movie ‘sfrm’ = A ScrapIt Pro form
